Hey there everyone! Sorry it’s been a while, but I’m back now!

I’ve been at National Unified Auditions the past several days auditioning for MT and acting BFA programs so things have been a little crazy, but I wanted to debut my first series of Lydia’s Lustings! Each month I’ll be listing the products I’m lusting over this month and basically drooling over them. I wanted to use my monthly wishlists as a launching point to rant and discuss makeup with all y’all! Without further ado, here’s my makeup and skincare wishlist of the month!

Striped Spring Nail Art

I wanted to show a mani I did a while back, but one I thought was perfect for spring!

I used many different polishes to create these abstract stripes. The design features differently sized stripes in one palette while the pinky fingers are more curved. IF you’d like to learn how to create this look, read the directions below!

1: Paint on a base coat to protect nails.

2: Paint each nail in the base color you would like. You can pick whatever base you want, you’ll be covering them with stripes later.

Best Lip Balms Ever

It’s no secret to anyone that I’m obsessed with lip balms. I probably have one for every day of the year!

Okay, that’s a bit of exaggeration, but I have been in love with some tried and true products I’d like to share with you! These are the best lip balms I’ve tried and would recommend to pretty much anyone. I took pictures so you can get an idea of the size and packaging.

1. Smith’s Mocha Rose Lip Balm

This is such an amazing formula, even Elle Fanning stated she was a fan in this month’s Marie Claire. I’m super cheap, so when I saw this for six dollars at a local bath and beauty store on State Street (The Soap Opera), I thought it was outrageous., but my friends were also buying potted balms so I had to give it a try.
