Nature Republic Jelly Drop Jam Balm Review

Nature Republic Jelly Drop Jam Balm Review

jelly balm

Hey y’all! Super sorry for not being around much lately. I have multiple college auditions in about three weeks and I’ve been working really hard to prepare so I haven’t had much time for my website or YouTube channel.

This is a product I’ve had for a long, long time. Like, I bought this when I was in Korea two years ago and I still haven’t finished it. It’s the Nature Republic Jelly Drop Jam Balm! I consider this to be one of my holy grail products. It’s great as a daily balm or as an overnight lip conditioner as well. Read on to see why I love it!

Unique qualities:

This is a foreign product and it has a jelly texture that smells like strawberries!

Comes in a little plastic jar, just like a jam jar. I wish it had a little dipper like some of the honey pot balms I’ve seen, but I just sort of submerge my lips in it… haha… (I only use my fingers if they’re freshly washed and not germy.)

I don’t remember how much this was in Korea when I bought it, but I’ve seen this product on eBay and other stores for about $6. Like I said, I’ve had it for two years and still have some left over. (Much like my Rose Cocoa Balm from Smith’s.) I’d say that it’s worth the money because you don’t need much.

A light strawberry/fruity smell.

It stays on nicely for about thirty minutes until it fully soaks into the lips.

This is a jelly, so it’s slightly tacky. It could be too sticky for many people, but I like the texture and hydration. If you add too much it’ll be too sticky and thick so a little goes a long way.

Overall rating:

4.5/5 stars!

I rated this 4.5/5 stars because it is one of my holy grails. I love how moisturizing and hydrating this is and the only drawback is the slight tackiness.

What are your holy grails? I’m always looking for some new recommendations!
